My name’s Donny, and I’m an active duty Navy FMF Corpsman. I started making going away gifts back when I was a boot at my second command because I hated seeing guys leave a unit with nothing and feeling like no one cared about them. Now, 12 years later, I’m still making sure people get taken care of and leave with something they’ll actually want to keep and put up on the wall.  Regardless of the lies your friend, partner or yourself says everyone wants a memento to remember that period in their life and its in our traditions to give them that.

Deep Six Awards was built around military culture, tradition, dark humor, and the experiences that come with serving alongside good people. From retirement plaques and paddles to morale patches and custom engraved pieces, everything we make is designed by someone who’s actually lived the lifestyle.

Before launching Deep Six Awards, I spent years building content online during the early wave of military creators from 2017–2022 through my YouTube channel, DwkVideos. That journey opened a lot of doors for me creatively and helped my wife and I launch our first business, Coldpressed Bricks, a handmade soap company we built together from the ground up. Eventually we had to close it down when military deployments and life pulled us in different directions, but it taught us a lot about building something of our own.

Now we’re back creating in a niche we’re genuinely passionate about, making products for the military community and the people who support it.
